Service Delivery Manager - Document scanning and information capture
This is a greenfield opportunity to manage a new facility, working with leading edge technology, to capture Australia's history for posterity.
We have been awarded a prestigious contract to supply the State Library NSW with digitisation services of their heritage materials. To ensure the highest quality service we require an on-site Service Delivery Manager who will manage the operations teams, the infrastructure and the client relationship.
This role will cover all aspects of the document scanning and information capture process: IT infrastructure set-up; operator recruitment, training and management; heritage material security; client liaison; imaging quality, and final delivery.
We need a manager with that unique combination of technical knowledge, leadership and team-building, and client management skills, specifically, these will include:
a high degree of IT literacy,
hardware infrastructure knowledge and understanding,
practical application software experience in meeting client daily processing requirements,
document scanning and information capture experience,
the ability to develop organised and well-structured work delivery plans, and
excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
