| Virgin Islands Behavioral Services (VIBS), a 30-bed behavioral health facility, with three out-patient programs and an educational component, has been providing quality health care to the residents of the Virgin Islands since 1995. Virgin Islands Behavioral Services currently has a full time Human Resources Generalist position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following: 1. Assists with the onboarding process of new employees and status changes for existing staff. 2. Maintains manual and electronic employee files and records and ensures all trainings and certifications are current. 3. Handles complaints, resolves employee grievances, improves morale, and solves problems. 4. Provides support to the Director of Human Resources. The following are the job requirements for the Human Resources Generalist position on St. Croix: 1. Undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred. 2. At least two years work-related experience within the human resources field. 3. Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. 4. Bilingual applicant preferred at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make oneself understood to all individuals. |
